Visit from the Toothfairy...

Although my baby only turned 5 in Feb, the toothfairy has had to visit for the second time already this year.
I was so shocked when the dentist told me that she had her first wobbly tooth, but I wasn't prepared for the second one to follow so soon. My girlfriend Kelli made Bella a beautiful toothfairy pillow so that Bella had somewhere safe and sound to place her tooth and somewhere for the toothfairy to place the $5 note. (the toothfairy's have gotten very generous over the past few years...lol)
Lets just hope that it is a little while before her next lot get wobbly as the poor toothfairy might go bankrupt.

Till next time.

Mothers Day 2010

Well today was Mothers Day and what an amazing day it has been :)
I was woken this morning by my beautiful girls who were eagerly waiting with an arm full of pressies, which were my gorgeous cherry apron with matching oven gloves and pie maker. Mmmmmm can't wait to give that one a go :-P

The girls did such a great job keeping the pie maker a secret, as a few times Brett had to stop them before the secret was let out. I then received for the first time breakfast in bed and then left in peace for the next hour to read my book. Oh I could so get use to this special treatment. lol

We then had all the family from both sides over for a very relaxing lunch, and definately had no shortage of food.

The weather was devine and the company was perfect and I think it is safe to say that a great day was had by all.

I hope that you all had a very Happy Mothers Day and enjoyed it as much as I xxx

Think PINK...

She is nobody, yet she is EVERYBODY... This is how a breast cancer survivour last night described the Breast Cancer symbol 'The Pink Lady'.

Last night my mum, sister and I participated in the Melbourne Field of Women at the MCG. It was such and amazing and an emotional evening, but we were all there for just one reason and that was to support a very good cause.

14000 fellow supporters doned the pink ponchos and headed onto the ground which made for such an amazing sight.

It was literally a sea of pink :)

We are just so thankful that the rain held off until the last few people were leaving the ground for the stands, and then the heavens opened.
Don't forget to THINK PINK and donate.

Boys and their toys...

After many years of being stashed away in the top of the cupboard, Brett's slot car track sees the light of day. Once he figured out how to put it together, the test came to see if the cars still worked. Luckily for the girls 1 of the 2 worked, but after a few laps that toowas out of action :(

Now the hunt is on for some new cars but of course they have to be a "particular" type and not just any old car and he has already purchased more track to make it BIGGER and better... lol

Little Miss Matilda turns 3...

Yesterday we headed off to the Scott household to help Little Miss Matilda celebrate her 3rd birthday.

A big Happy Birthday to my favourite little niece xxx...  (yes yes I know she is my only niece... lol)

April thus far...

INTRODUCING.......... HANNAH MONTANA................ lol

This is the outcome of Isabella quietly playing in her room.  lol Thank goodness she didn't break out in song ;)

Last week Brett and I decided to introduce the girls to Roller Derby... I know a lot people think that Roller Derby is a bunch of girls on skates trying to beat or trip each other over, and that may well of been the case back in the 60's and 70's, but so not the case now. (although it is still loads of FUN!)

Last Tuesday Cranbourne was hit by a ripper of a storm, and luckily for me I was at work (which didn't recieve a drop of rain), but unfortunatley Brett and the girls at home weren't so lucky. Apparently we received about 40+ mm of rain in half an hour which caused our water tanks to overflow and the lounge room roof to leak yet AGAIN. lol

Since then we have recived another 35mm and fingers crossed there is plenty more to come.  Would so love for this drought to be finally over :)

Of course Brett was out amongst the storm trying to get some good photo's with the new camera, but unfortunately we have yet to of bought a tripod so taking photos was a little difficult. This is my favourite! :)
